Requirements
- Eligibility for NARI of Greater Charlotte membership requires that the company applicant be in business for one full year prior to application, actively engaged in the remodeling industry, and agree to abide by the NARI Code of Ethics and Bylaws (see below).
- In considering your application NARI of Greater Charlotte will verify your business registration and professional license (if applicable), verify your insurance coverage, and perform a company background check.
- Annual dues are $715 and can be paid at the time of application or invoiced once your membership has been approved. Annual dues payment includes NARI of Greater Charlotte ($430.00) and NARI National Dues ($285.00).
Application Review & Approval
- The Board of Directors meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month and all pending applications are reviewed at that time. Once approved by the Board, pending applications will be published in the monthly newsletter for review and comment by the membership. New members will receive a welcome letter upon final approval.
- Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of final approval.
- New members will be invoiced for dues if payment was not made at the time of application.
- All new members will be registered with NARI National within 10 days of final approval pending dues are paid in full.

Each member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry is pledged to observe high standards of honesty, integrity and responsibility in the conduct of business:
- By promoting in good faith only those products and services which are known to be functionally and economically sound, and which are known to be consistent with objective standards of health and safety;
- By making all advertising and sales promotion factually accurate, avoiding those practices which tend to mislead or deceive the customer.
- By writing all contracts and warranties such that they comply with federal, state, and local laws.
- By promptly acknowledging and taking appropriate action on all customer complaints.
- By refraining from any act intended to restrain trade or suppress competition.
- By obtaining and retaining insurance as required by federal, state, and local authorities.
- By obtaining and retaining licensing and/or registration as required by federal, state, and local authorities.
- By taking appropriate action to preserve the health and safety of employees, trade contractors, and clients.
