    Job Description
    SUMMARYAccomplishes monthly sales forecast by selling commercial and residential service to customers, creating a high level of customer satisfaction, while maintaining the highest possible gross profit margin.   
     
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
     
    I.  Sales Activities                                                                                                                                          
     
    1. Calls on existing and new customer accounts from company leads, vendor leads and prospecting lists. Actively promotes all products and services to the customer or prospect, to include products and services. Works consistently to achieve a quantity of quotations that will enable the assigned monthly sales forecast to be accomplished.
    2. Makes timely responses, including creating onsite sales proposals, to customer requests.   Utilizes prior sales and service information to determine a call plan/strategy before visiting the customer. Insures that the quote/proposal will meet customer expectations and budget. Hand delivers appropriate proposals for immediate feedback and follow up. Determines the customer’s decision-making process and timetable for purchasing the project and follows up appropriately.
    3. Accurately determines customer reasons and thought process when proposals are lost to competitors and adjusts future proposals accordingly. Keeps the sales management staff aware of changes in competitive products and companies in their assigned territory.
    4. Assures that all estimates and orders have complete and well-defined information that will enable operations to estimate, procure, schedule and install the job to meet or exceed the projected profit and customer expectations. Reviews projects that do not make expected profit with estimating and/or operations to adjust labor, materials, and/or subcontract costs in subsequent estimates.
    5. Acquires commercial and residential construction knowledge and understanding of all service lines offered by the company. Develops sales techniques which will enable them to clearly describe services for customers.
    6. Performs general sales and marketing related sales functions as defined by Sales Manager, to include accurate information on customer work requirements, customer personnel and company competitors.
     
    II.   Customer Service Activities                                                                                                        
        A.  Promotes and maintains a positive attitude toward customers regardless of the situation, working diligently to resolve any disputes that would endanger customer loyalty.
     
     
     
     
    B.   Effectively communicates, verbally and in writing, with the customer and all internal staff        that is responsible for creating the best possible degree of customer satisfaction.
    C.  Represents the Company in a professional manner on all sales calls, at trade shows or at    vendor training sessions and maintains a neat, clean appearance.
     
    III.  Safety Activities (must be practiced at all times)
     
         A.   Vehicles:  Drives vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, observing all traffic
               regulations.
               
    B.  Assures that protective eye wear, ear plugs, hard hats and other safety equipment is worn at all appropriate times.
     
         C.  Possess knowledge of and complies with Company safety policies and practices.
     
         D.  Notes any unusual safety requirements or jobsite conditions on the job ticket so that
               the scheduler and installer can properly complete the work in a safe and productive
               manner.
     
    IV.  Policy and Procedures (must be practiced at all times)
     
         A.  Follows established credit and collection policy and procedure.
     
         B.  Completes all proposals with proper terms and collects down payments when applicable.
     
         C.  Follows, understands and communicates the Company philosophy and mission.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
     
         Must have a valid and appropriate drivers license
         Good mechanical and math aptitude and attention to detail
         Self motivated, and have the ability to work without close supervision
         Have a sense of urgency to take care of customers in the shortest possible time frame.
