SUMMARY:Contractor Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:Open to NARI Charlotte Members - Contractors and SubContractors\n\n\n\nFrom Duane Johns\, Alair Homes:\n\n\n\nAs a long term member of NARI and other organizations\, I have always been a promoter of professionalism in our industry. What sets members apart is our desire to do the right thing. We want to make our clients happy\, our businesses grow and ultimately improve our lives. \n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, we all get busy working day to in the business (in the weeds\, actually) and struggle to find time to work on the business. One of our core focuses as a group shoudl be to help fellow contractors become better business owners. I believe one the best ways to do this is to come together and share ideas\, knowledge and best practices.\n\n\n\nWith that being said\, I have been working to launch a Contractor Roundtable series. The plan is to hold roundtable sessions one hour prior to certain general membership meetings throughout the year where contractors can discuss such things as best practices\, lowering risk\, increasing profits and creating more personal time. We will have a topic to discuss at each session but the conversation will be open and free flowing.\n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity to learn from your peers. Hopefully this will be something that will compel more of our contractor members to attend general membership meetings as well.\n\n\n\nWe are offering the first roundtable session on Thursday\, February 27th at 4:00pm at Kaufmann & Co. Please join us to see what this valuable series will become!
