CotY Judging |
THE RESULTS ARE IN, THE WINNERS ARE... Each year, NARI members are encouraged to submit their best remodeling work to be considered for the Contractor of the Year (COTY) Award. The COTY represents the "best of the "best" in the remodeling and design-build industry. On October 29th and 30th in McLean, VA, this year's record amount of entries were judged by an independent panel which included design-build experts and remodeling architects, all members of the NARI DC Chapter. Charlene and Clay Smith transported the entries to DC and were greeted and hosted by Greg Hadley, current NARI DC Chapter CotY Awards Chairman, and Bill Kleppinger of Kleppinger Design Group. To find out who the winners are, you must attend the 2007 CotY Awards Dinner, presented by Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery & Stock Building Supply, on Saturday, December 1st, 6PM-10PM. Make this evening of excellence your company holiday celebration!

Dear Fellow NARI Members,
I think you would agree that there is more than enough "reality television" on the air these days. Everybody seems to have an opinion about American Idol and Simon Cowell in particular. Then, there's the dance craze competition and if you are anything like I am, you just have an affinity for a particular celebrity who is dancing rather than really knowing what it takes to earn the best score. While I am not a big fan of these type programs, I must admit I am drawn to the home makeover shows usually to watch the radical changes that take place in a den, living room, bedroom, etc. There's always a build up to that moment in time when the homeowner is revealed the results of the makeover. Do they like it, or do they not? They always scream with delight on television.
In the real world, remodeling takes more time, production, and money than what we usually see on television. But that's not to say that the process reduces our enthusiasm for engaging in a new project. On Saturday evening, December 1st, we will celebrate our NARI of Greater Charlotte Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards. Please attend as you will see our own version of reality on the screen. We will feature the before and after images and stories behind an entire price range of remodeling projects. Don't miss being a part of our evening of excellence as we celebrate the most competitive CotYs to date. Our NARI members represent a lot of style and savvy when it comes to the transformations of kitchens, bathrooms, garages and more. The CotYs symbolize our byline, "NARI, the trusted source in remodeling." Join us on December 1st as we celebrate turning remodeling dreams into reality.
Best Wishes,
|
