Blues, Brews & BBQ takes place September 10th & 11th, 2010 in Uptown Charlotte! Approximately 60 teams compete for over $20,000 in prizes and supreme bragging rights. Teams decorate their areas with elaborate decorations, pig trophies added to their booths, and as one can imagine, clever and creative team names. While the BBQ competition is the main theme there is also a pigtastic festival taking place Friday & Saturday. Blues music, an array of beer samples, and some of the best barbecue you will find anywhere is one of the many reasons to check out Blues, Brews & BBQ! This festival attracted 100,000 visitors last year celebrating the best of the southern cuisine and southern music. Food, music, entertainment and more!
