The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) exists as a national trade association committed to service and be a voice of the professional remodeling industry. NARI presently represents remodeling contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of home improvement products or services, lending institutions, utilities, design firms, and publishers.

NARI’s roots go back to the depression and a merger of two industry groups, The Northeast Roofing Siding Insulation Contractors Association (NERSICA) and The National Home Improvement Council (NHIC). This merger in 1982 led to the formation of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), the trade association of professional remodeling.

NARI of Greater Charlotte, Inc. has been in existence since 1992.
