Education : Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC)
Must have five years experience, two as a lead carpenter. The all day
exam for CLC’s includes sections on business management; plans and specifications;
building codes and construction law; evaluations; planning; tools and
equipment; job-site safety; carpentry; concrete and masonry; roofing and
siding; insulation; plumbing; electrical and mechanical systems; special construction;
kitchens and baths; interior finishes; communication and people
skills; job-site management and quality control.
